We specialize in workshops for youth interested in learning more about Hip Hop culture and adults who are interested in finding new ways to connect to and communicate with young people of the Hip Hop generation.
Established in 2001, the Hip Hop Rising provides opportunities for youth ages 12-18 to build critical thinking skills and improve literacy skills by learning more about Hip Hop culture through music, film, theater, art and dance.
The Hip Hop Rising curriculum provides youth with a tool to express themselves creatively while improving their spoken and written communication skills.
The Hip Hop Rising curriculum also provides an opportunity for adults to learn new ways to communicate with young people about everyday challenges they face in our ever changing global society.
